One of a kind: polyphthalamide filaments

VESTAMID^® HTplus F is the first polyphthalamide material from which filaments can be drawn. It is easily processed into different versions. Modifications in geometry and color are also possible. Due to its crystallinity PPA possesses unusually high chemical resistance; as a result VESTAMID® HTplus F filaments can be used in highly aggressive media and harsh environments.

The melting point of the material being 320°C, the filaments are suitable for use at high temperature, as for example in industrial brushes.
VESTAMID^® HTplus F monofilaments have a breaking stress of more than 300 MPa and elongation at break exceeding 150 percent, which makes them ideally suited for specialty brushes in challenging fields of application. Other applications areas include mono- and multi-filaments for filters, reinforcement materials, and nonwovens.
