And with VESTAMID^® Terra DS a 100 percent biobased high-performance polyamide has now entered the field.

• Protective and decorative films of VESTAMID^® E, VESTAMID^® L, and VESTAMID^® Terra DS are abrasion and scratch proof and resistant to chemicals, and have high cold impact strength; certain compounds are also transparent. This used to good advantage in, for example, topcoats of skis and snowboards and the surfaces of tennis and badminton rackets.
• The films can be printed by both classic and the most recent processes. For particularly durable and brilliant decoration, sublimation printing has now become standard.
• Because all VESTAMID^® E, VESTAMID^® L, and VESTAMID^® Terra DS compounds can be bonded to one another, overmolding of compounds of different color or hardness is possible. Sports equipment manufacturers exploit this possibility in the production of multicomponent or multicolored articles.
