RTPs with polyamide also available for gas production

In conjunction with an industry partner, Evonik has succeeded in obtaining approval for another VESTAMID^® grade for use in reinforced thermoplastic pipes (RTPs). Bureau Veritas has confirmed in a certificate of conformity that the new piping system can be used in offshore gas production. The new design allows operating pressures of 150 bar at a temperature of 65°C.
